Bishop J. L. Payne and Pastor Lyons Welch have been in acquaintance for well over 45 years. For 7 years Bishop Payne lived in Hawaii. The late Pastor Dennis Welch (Brother to Pastor Lyons Welch) served as pastor in the Islands. Pastor Lyons Welch serves as pastor of the Greater Mt. Zion Holiness Church.
We look forward to the visit of Pastor Lyons from Hawaii. We yet morns the death of his brother, Pastor Dennis Welch but look forward to our great reunion with him in the second resurrection. |
Bishop Payne will recognize the many years of fellowship with Pastor Lyons and acknowledge the ministry of this Apostle of the church. The vision of COGIC, INT'L has planted ministries around the world, thus establishing the New Testament Church and the Apostle's Order of ministry worldwide. We believed that God is bringing together New Testament's Churches and their Leaderships in the bond of relationships and meaningful building of His Kingdom in the earth.
